This is a flex position with up to 10 hours available every week. Sundays: 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM and/or 1PM- 6PM Wednesdays: 6 PM - 8 PM A background check AND drug screen is required. Role: To provide dependable, safe, and nurturing care to students. Responsibilities: * Be polite, courteous and friendly to all students, parents and volunteers. * Assist parent(s) as needed with checking in students. * Maintaining a safe and orderly environment for all students. * Being prepared to use Bible stories, verses/passages, questions, and comments appropriate to the age level in order to accomplish the lesson goals. * Use a variety of Bible learning activities and encourage each student to actively participate in each lesson. * Stay until students are secured with a responsible adult named on the student’s registration form. Qualifications: * Experience in childhood education * Experience in childcare * At least 18 years of age or older Must adhere to The Springs Church Toccoa Guidelines Must provide three professional references
